Rick Rahim sells VMC Satellite for $23.3 million to a large public company traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Rick had founded VMC four years earlier and started the company from scratch. He is required to stay on as president for a transition period. After the sale, Rick gains valuable experience as the President of a public company.
Having outperformed his goals as President of VMC Satellite, Rick is able to retire.
Bored beyond belief by retirement, Rick rents a new office, hires a receptionist, and founds BusinessVentures.com with just one employee and no revenue.
Rick develops and launches OnlineBusinessBureau.com.
Rick develops and launches SiteHistory.com.
Rick acquires Animal Nannies of McLean.
Rick opens Virginia Dog Walkers.
Rick acquires The Doggie Walkers in Northern VA.
Rick acquires Alternative Pet Care in Burke, VA

Rick acquires Gearworks Laser Tag in Nags Head, NC.
Barely two years after having launched and grown Luxury Limousine from a startup to a mature business with a large fleet, Rick sells the limousine company.

Rick acquires Laser Xtreme in Middleburg Heights, OH.
Rick acquires Stone Ambulance Service in Martinsville, VA.

Rick acquires Vocelli Pizza in Warrenton, VA.

Rick opens Extreme Laser Tag in Colonial Heights, VA.
Rick acquires Surf's Up Family Fun Center in Myrtle beach, SC.
The Ambulance Division is successfully spun off and sold to a third party.
Rick acquires "The Woods" laser tag center in Ocoee, FL (a suburb of Orlando). The store is remodeled, and rebranded as Extreme Laser Tag Orlando.
Rick acquires "The Tree" laser tag center in Clermont, FL. The store is re-branded as Extreme Laser Tag Clermont and relaunched.
Rick creates and launches The Laser Tag Operators Association.
Rick acquires the very successful Kangaroo Jac's in Chesapeake, VA.
Three years and two months after beginning the process, Rick receives issuance of his first US Patent, number 8,418,781.
The entertaining safety briefing video created by Rick for the laser tag stores surpasses 500,000 views on YouTube and continues to be the most-watched laser tag video on the Internet.
Rick writes a children's fantasy book about aviation, titled "Way Up High In the Big Blue Sky." He launches Think On Publishing and partners with Mascot Books to publish it nationally.
Rick acquires a second South Carolina laser tag location in Myrtle Beach, SC and begins construction. Extreme Laser Tag Myrtle Beach holds its grand opening in April, 2014.
Rick's children's book, "Way Up High In the Big Blue Sky," reaches the #1 position as an Amazon.com Best Seller, making Rick a "Best Selling Author" in the children's book category.
Rick acquires the Kangaroo Jac's location in Richmond, VA. It is immediately renovated and upgraded to company standards.
Continuing on its exceptional growth curve, BusinessVentures.com once again outgrows its corporate office in Great Falls. Setting even more ambitious goals for 2015, the corporate office is moved to a sprawling Class A facility in Sterling, VA
Rick acquires Sweet Heat Barbeque, a restaurant in Reston, VA. It is immediately renovated and relaunched.
Rick buys a Jerry's Subs and Pizza, a franchise restaurant in Reston, VA.
Rick launches The MegaHot Music Network, a live streaming radio station, with additional recording studios for artist production and talent development.
In one of his quickest flips ever, Rick successfully sells his Jerry's Subs and Pizza franchise (for a profit) exactly 60 days after purchase.
Rick acquires a very large mobile kitchen and brands it for mobile catering for Sweet Heat BBQ. The trailer is capable of serving in excess of 1,000 meals per day; and is put into service for special events, weddings, sports events, and general curbside vending at licensed locations.
Sweet Heat Barbeque, achieves a major targeted milestone of doubling revenue under Rick's leadership since acquisition 15 months ago.
Rick adds another large mobile food truck as he begins execution of a business plan that projects to generate more than $1 million annually by the end of 2016. A new mobile food division is officially formed.
FoodTruckFleet.com is launched.
