In September of 2001, Rick Rahim was able to negotiate the acquisition of a very high level domain name: PlatinumCard.com.
Once Rick owned the domain, he developed a credit card marketing model and began selling credit cards on the site as an affiliate for multiple banks.
On September 10, 2003, just two short years later; Rick concluded the sale of the domain to The American Express Company for a hefty profit!
